Bishop Khegay in Eurasia said that the best way to provide financial support is to contribute through the Global Ministries Advance for Eurasia and designate your gift for Ukrainian Assistance. Following is a link to the Eurasia Advance information: https://advance.umcmission.org/p-191-eurasia-in-mission-together-russia-and-belarus.aspx.  Please put “Ukrainian Assistance” on your check or envelope when you make offerings. We will send the fund to Eurasia Advance.

MUSICAL MOMENTS

Approaching the end of the choir season we have some special musical moments planned at Ginter Park UMC. You won’t want to miss them, in fact you may wish to invite someone to come enjoy worship with us as well!

  • June 5: On Pentecost the Chancel Choir will sing Greg Scheer's beautiful 'Abana', a setting of The Lord's Prayer with a melody loved by Arabic- speaking Christians
  • June 12: Commonwealth Brass will join us for festive music as we conclude the 2021-22 choir season on Trinity Sunday, including Greg Sheer's anthem, 'Make Us One, Within Your Spirit', commissioned by River Road Presbyterian Church in 2017

VANCE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES REPORT:

The air quality testing summary and full lab reports are available outside the Church office.  The report shows that the air quality is good.  The Church has also had all the air ducts cleaned and sanitized.

FOOD PANTRY REPORT:

Your food pantry served an average of 100+ households each week. As always, volunteers are welcome. Paper grocery bags with handles are needed as are donations of dry cereal.

NEEDED:

Crew length warm socks, gloves and stocking caps for both men and women. The Dollar Tree has great ones in stock right now. Please drop off your donations to the Church Office.
