Dear Friends,
We would like to offer our deepest thanks to the congregation. First for your love and support during Roy’s time as Minister of Visitation. These have been 3+ wonderful years in ministry, and what a fitting ministry from which to retire for the last time. We were so very blessed by the reception between services last Sunday. Thank you to the children and youth for the beautiful plant that now adorns our front porch. We thank all of you for your contributions toward the cash gift of $500.00. In addition, all of the kind words shared with us on Sunday morning were more than we could have ever expected. Finally, there are so many people who made this celebration possible and we hesitate to begin to list all for fear of omitting anyone. We would like to thank Brian, representing a host of people and several organizations in the church for his very kind words in making the presentation during church.

Thank you all!!!!!!

Our prayers are constant and urgent for the Ukrainian people. Many of you have asked about the ways to help the people of Ukraine and to support our United Methodist witness in Ukraine. Bishop Khegay in Eurasia said that the best way to provide financial support is to contribute through the Global Ministries Advance for Eurasia and designate your gift for Ukrainian Assistance. Following is a link to the Eurasia Advance information:  Please put “Ukrainian Assistance” on your check or envelope when you make offerings. We will send the fund to Eurasia Advance.

Sunday, July 10th there will be baked goods for sale at the Church during both worship services! Be sure to get here early in order to get some of the best treats. Donations can be dropped off in the Church Kitchen Sunday morning July 10th.

Bakers and planners needed to head up and work with the children in having a bake sale at the church where the proceeds go to Ukraine.

Your food pantry served an average of 100+ households each week. As always, volunteers are welcome. Paper grocery bags with handles are needed as are donations of dry cereal.
