Thank you for your support of these mission opportunities.
Please take time to sign as many Christmas Cards outside the church office for the Shut-Ins while you are at church. If you could do one card for every shut-in, that would be great. The names are already printed on the outside of the cards. Please replace them back in the basket once you have signed them. We would like to collect as many cards as we can from the congregation by Dec. 16! The Shut-Ins will receive the cards plus a box of cookies for Christmas. Please contact Mary Swing for information.
SOCIETY OF ST. ANDREW
In the church year, this third Sunday of Advent is called “Joy Sunday”. In the middle of our busy, Advent season, take this day just to be glad, to be grateful for all the blessings we have received in our lives, and to look forward to the greatest joy, our Savior, soon to be born in Bethlehem. As you reflect on the joy in your life, give generously to Society of St. Andrew, using the coin box you received with your Advent devotional booklet. Today, spend time naming your blessings, and place a coin in your coin box for every blessing you name.
