GROCERY BAGS NEEDED
Your food pantry is always in need of paper grocery bags with handles. We recently ran low and had to purchase these bags at a cost of 15.64 cents per bag. Please save your grocery bags and ask your friends and neighbors to do the same. We can also use plastic bags; however, the paper bags with handles are a necessity. You can leave them on the table outside of the food pantry (Burchette Room) as you come in from the parking lot. Thank you for your support of your food pantry.
Due to a reduction in the allocation of USDA food for this month, our food pantry will not receive any canned goods from FeedMore in July. While our inventory is good at present, we anticipate running short on some items by the end of the month. Therefore, we are requesting donations of canned vegetables such as green peas and beans. In addition, we always need paper grocery bags with handles and plastic bags. Our food pantry typically serves approximately 400 family units each month. Thank you for your support.
