July 18th, Rev. Joe Frazier will join us to give an update on the Stepping Stones school which is going well. August 15th, we will meet for lunch and our program will be a reading of poetry by Mary Swing. On September 19th, Patti Dean from Life Net Health will speak with us about organ donation. This is a very important subject for everyone. Please spread the word and bring your friends. Everyone is invited to join us for any of our programs. It is helpful to have an idea of how many plan to attend so we have enough food. You can make a reservation by calling Beth or Roy Quist at (804)266-3164 or the Church Office at (804)262-8651.

Our food pantry needs your help. We need volunteers to help greet our clients or to be trained to register guests on a laptop computer. Please contact the church office, Horace Ford, Sam Wilkinson or Joyce Roberts if you can help with any of these needs. As always, we also need paper grocery bags with handles and plastic bags. Please leave these outside of the food pantry door (Burchette Room) on the first floor as you come in from the parking lot. Thank you for your support of our food pantry.

All youth grades 6 – 12 are invited to a sleepover at the Durrett household (per the kids request) on July 20th at 5 p.m. All youth are asked to bring a drink and snack to share and pizza will be provided for dinner. Youth are also asked to bring a sleeping bag and pillow. On Sunday morning, the group will leave together and attend the morning worship at GPUMC. Please sign up with Grace Durrett if you are interested in attending.

We are now providing ride assistance for both worship services. Please contact the church office for more information (804) 262-8651.
